Who cares what that bell thinks anyway. I remember a few years ago he had a column on the bbc as a world cup pundit and started going on about how proud the Ghana players must feel and what an honour it would be to play for them but oh wait he fudged them of for France.

Awww man, we NEED to achieve something next year with him. We have to get top 4 at the very least. If we are only to have one more year of him then we need to make it count. It may be another decade or more before we have a player with his ability of winning a game on his own.

I can't believe how many goals he scored outside the box. Such an accurate shot on him. I was watching early on and thinking damn, how many goals was he scoring with his right, he had Reading, United, Norwich, Arsenal etc.. all of his goals for Wales (bar the penalties) were great, I loved that Austria one, superb touch and great little finish too.

Come to that, maybe not even in their entire careers. The man is a phenomenon the like of which we have never seen in a Spurs shirt.
Been watching Spurs for sixty years and can say without hesitation that no Spurs player in that time, not Smith, not Greaves, nor Jones, Chivers, Hoddle, Waddle, Gascoigne, Allen, Klinsmann, Lineker, Sheringham, Ginola, Berbatov, Keane, Defoe, not one of them ever scored such an array of spectacular goals in one season.
Come to that, maybe not even in their entire careers. The man is a phenomenon the like of which we have never seen in a Spurs shirt.

Sometimes you get a player like that but they have a weakness like they are slow or something, but there brilliant finishing or timing of runs more than made of it, is Bale the most complete footballer in Tottenhams history? Quick, skilful, great energy, brilliant shot, great finisher, decent with his head, can take free kicks, scores penalties, can score with both feet etc.

I hate when people say he doesnt show up in the big games (say after a performance like the one at home to United where he was just ineffective) when really he has scored against every top team he's come up against in the Premier League.
Scored at home to Chelsea.
Scored at home to Emirates Marketing Project and scored away at Emirates Marketing Project.
Scored away at Old Trafford.
Scored at home at Arsenal three times and scored away at Arsenal twice.
Scored at home to Liverpool.
Not to mention his hattrick at the San Siro.

plus i still think ginola scored a wide range of goals, long shots, tap ins, dribbling through people etc...in one season
