Good article. Especially like that the great Cliff Jones is given due recognition.http://www.nytimes.com/2013/03/04/s...nade-gareth-bale-while-they-still-can.html?hp
Article is on the front page of the main web site. Even the NYT is buying into the hype, but I think he'll stay at least one more season.
For the second game in a row Bale's average position is further forwards then Adebayor's.
I have seen people declaring that we are in definite need of a ball playing midfielder, however the only way i can see one fitting into our side is in a 4-3-3. Our defensive setup relies heavily on a partnership of Sandro/Parker and Dembele, and solidarity at the back has become one of our most important developments in the run we are currently having.
If Bale wants to play as an AM there is no space for him in the side in a 4-3-3.
What are people's thoughts on him becoming that Striker we have wanted for so long? Personally i think he has the attributes for it.
Isn't Ade basically playing as a midfielder based on those average positions? He's barely ahead of Parker.
Scored against Arsenal at Emirates
Scored against Arsenal at White Hart Lane
Scored against Man Utd at Old Trafford
Scored against Emirates Marketing Project at The City of Manchester Stadium
Scored against Liverpool at White Hart Lane
Scored against Chelsea at White Hart Lane
Scored a hattrick against Inter Milan at the San Siro
I love how big game he is!
Lets hope he can add Stamford Bridge and Anfield to his collection. He's more than capable!!

Do you still reckon he's overrated?
When he gets talked about in the Ronaldo/Messi bracket, yeah.
Who the fudge is Messi?
