I know absolutely nothing about these games but having seen on twitter that the likes of Dele and Kane were playing this game called Fortnite, I thought it would give me some kudos with my game-playing nephew to talk about it on the way to football.
It didn’t.
Meh. Used to play it. Not any more.

Reminds me of my first foray into online gaming years ago with Gears of War.

Played about 15 rounds, got utterly slaughtered every time. Managed maybe 3 kills the entire session.

As much as that was demoralising, Id usually see it as a challenge.

However, the entire time there was this whiny American kid in my ear, someone on the squad I had landed with, and the idea of spending any more time around people like that killed online gaming for me entirely.

Havent touched it since.

Well, that, and the idea Id end up committing 40+ hours a week to playing so I could become a badass who could last more than a few seconds each round(ooer!) - way too much of a commitment for my taste.
