I'm not sure I agree. The car definitely can (although quite what 2025 brings for all teams is a guess) - but the pit wall decision making at Ferrari is far too capable of snatching 3rd from the jaws of victory.
It was better last season than 2022, but still poor quality for F1 and waaaay below where Ferrari should be.
Add to that his crew are him will have to learn eachother. Norris and Piastri will have a few years head start.
Presumably Mercedes will now focus on seeing if Russell can take that next step or whether he's better as a solid no.2.
The only set up you look at re: winning races is Verstappens. Car, driver, crew, have the perfect synergy. Everyone else is picking up scraps.
I don't see Ferrari's structure being strong enough to support two no.1 drivers. Are they going to favour Hamilton over LeClerc? And if so, how will that tension affect LeClerc. He's not exactly the nicey nicey second fiddle/team player that Sainz is.
