I was referring to Shearer’s EPL record but you’re right and Greaves all time record for the English top flight would’ve needed a few seasons of filling his boots at €iteh to overtake, judging by Kane’s goal a game average at Bayern then 4 seasons playing for Guardiola might’ve been enough.

Greaves: 357 goals in 516 games
Bloomer: 314 goals in 535 games
Dean: 310 goals in 362 games
Hodgson: 288 in 455 games
Shearer: 285 in 559 games

Kane: 213 goals in 320 games

Agree he was a talented Player and it didn’t work out with us. But still feels odd seeing him in a player appreciation thread.
 
Much like our other argie that had injury issues I do wonder if their personality didn't suit, these guys are the kind that will do the necessary when needed, excel at the dark arts and I'm not convinced that sits well with some in our dressing room.
 
He’s way too good for Leicester, as is Winks.

The rest of the squad must be complete garbage as that’s a solid PL MF pairing.
 
I reckon Parrot is pretty good and will be back in the PL before too long.

I'm also convinced I'd score plenty in Holland, even though I'm a fat bloke in my mid 40's.
 
I just don't get the love for the wage thief who didn't give a fudge about playing for us, and can only imagine players in Spain haven't noticed he's a Long John Silver tribute act.

That was their point. They didn't buy him for the other games, they bought him to be the difference maker when it matters.
