Dalian Atkinson? Steve Staunton? Andy Townsend? no idea who was captain in 1994, I can't even picture the them holding the league cup aloft at Wembley
 
Didn't they win the League Cup in 94 too, as I'm sure they beat Utd. So if Townsend and McGrath weren't the capt, who would have been?

Bosnich? Dwight Yorke? Dean Saunders?

Yes, it was the 1994 Football League Cup, but not any of the players you've mentioned.

He won an England cap too.
