Think some of it is lost in translation. Could mean they lost money due to covid, or the value of the club has dropped. Not sure really.

I’d imagine our wages are heavily bonus related and since we’ve achieved fudge all bonus worthy in the last 3 years they’d be lower than they would be in the previous few seasons when we were qualifying for the CL?

Interesting how this will go. We've seen with evergrande the chinese government couldn't give a fudge about companies debts abroad. So it's very possible sunning won't pay. That leaves the possibility of courts seizing assets. Now i'm not sure how it works since brexit. But is it possible the premier league could own inter milan? lol.
