Agree. That said my ST has an obstructed view. South 254 Row 6, cant see the other end of the pitch for the crossbar and top netting. Lot of money to pay to, have to, watch half the match on the telly, even if the screen is over 1000 m2.

Well, the crossbar is part of the game, and kind of essential. Not what I'm thinking about when I hear the term obstructed view. In my mind it's about structures and elements of the stadium itself obstructing the view. But if the goalposts and corner flags being in the sightline is classed as obstructed view, then fair enough.

This is what I call obstructed view.

But only feet on the far side. Is it a good viewing experience? No. And if you look closely, you'll see why it's like that. It's because the stadium is modified. The part blocking seeing the opposite stand, is an added TV gantry!

I'm not sure it has been modified, as guidance stated that a seat should be able to see every part of the pitch (which this does), but guidance should be (and probably now is) that a seat should be able to see every other seat, for lots of reasons.

There are seats in the Selhurst away end that don't (back 2-3 rows). Probably not helped if you are standing up....but you kinda have to if you don't want to be staring at the backs of people instead as everyone stands up on an away day.

That gantry has been there for years (it may have been modified though)

No. We have it for home cup games (I don't know how it works for PL games for non-ST holders) but the club has no visibility as to who scans in for an away game. I guess there would need to be some co-operation between clubs to share that information - no idea how easy that would be, it doesn't sound like it should be that difficult as long as a club's entry system logs that info.

Thnk of the Bodo game the other week. Away end half empty when the allocation was only 400ish to start with. Tickets cost something like £28, with 5 points on offer. It's a no brainer to apply, get the 5 points, but not bother with the expense and time of travelling out there, especially just a few months after we last played there. It's how some of those at the top of the points table maintain their position there.

I meant above board as in you will get the tickets, ie, not a scammer. How he gets them I have no idea. He also does corporate ones at THFC.

I know people that have used him, I never have personally. I have wondered why the club turns a blind eye.
