Fixture & Ticket News 2024/25

Yep...I noticed that a while back, I'm sure more used to.

Aer Lingus do from Dublin...plenty of London to Dublin flights. (Plenty of Irish United fans though)

Are you hoping out Tuesday back Thursday?

IF WE GET THERE 😎 😭😂
Yes
We have a hotel booked for Tuesday to Thursday
And will likely take the gamble now on flights and then … fingers crossed
Know from experience with Madrid that if you don’t … your paying treble

Ferry all the way from Portsmouth...if you're not in a rush ;)
36 hours
Bay of biscay
And full of football fans
I’d rather swim it
Only goes on Sunday too
What I think we’re gonna do is book the european flight to bilbao and worry about everything after the semis
We would lose £120 I think but the gain if we do make it is probably 5 times that

Prices are a bit crazy. I priced Dublin to Biarritz, thinking hire a car, two hour drive. Flight is coming at 346 euro. So you’d have to add London to Dublin into that if coming from UK. Plus car hire.
Is there a London flight to Biarritz?

Biscay beautiful in a storm...you will arrive refreshed:)

I'll get the boat (not that one) and probably turning it into, what I would call, a two week dream holiday...hooking up with the Mrs and daughter in the second week (half term).

I've decided I won't be going to Bilbao, too much of a faff, probably won't get tickets as loyalty points are very low down.

I went to Madrid without a ticket and it probably cost me all in over £1k with travel and accomodation and then spending money. Just not worth it. Looks like this time its going to be even more of a faff, and this is before it's confirmed that two English teams could potentially be in the final. This is all obviously if we beat Boba Fett.

I'm also flying to Turkey on the Friday for a family holiday, so content with spending the £100 down the pub or whatever it'll be with the plebians.

Anyone considering the journeys? I checked last night and there are currently no direct flights to Bilbao, only ones with an additional stop on the way, f that.

Surely everyone should be walking? The pilgrimage route to Santiago is one of the most ancient routes in europe. And isnt this the embodiment of modern pilgrimage?

I’ve already made all of my arrangements.

I’ve plumped the cushions on my chair, checked that Tesco’s will be selling beer that week, and made sure that the village shop will have a wide variety of snacks for sale.

I’ve also got a bed sorted a very short journey from my seat.

(Term time for me, so no chance of actually going - I won’t be at all jealous of the rest of you if we get there…honestly)

Im actually up for that kind of watch too. One of my spurs mates is away for the semi and the final and hes part of our group that watches stuff together. The other one hardly comes out, my bro is adamant he will go to the Final (should we get there of course) and the other few I have no idea.

Id much rather just set up in the man cave with some beers, my own toilets and as you say, snacks and watch it with my pals and probably my son now too.

I booked a hotel in Bilbao last September, just checked free cancellation is by May 19th

As said above, it's a bit of a nightmare to get to and from, will be even harder if say both us and United get there too
But surely if Bilbao get there then flights may come down and/or accommodation, or at best they wont go up?
