Fixture & Ticket News 2016/17

I'll put this in here ........ what's the feeling about membership points are they worth collecting now.......all home games now at a 90k staduim then at a 61k staduim....away games are virtually exclusive to season ticket holders now. So if a fan who only wants to go to a few games(say 8 or 9) is it worth being a member and collecting points. I'm a member plus got a chance of a season ticket on my current position, but can't really afford to go to every home game or pluck up £500 to buy a season ticket,so weighing up options on what to do...buy a season ticket or just pick and choose my games.

if you cant afford it, your decision is made. Plus as you say you'll be able to pick and choose what games you can make with little hassle in obtaining a ticket.

Also another reason i would suggest holding back on a season ticket is to wait and see how things settle down at the new ground, then pick an area you'd be happy with.

Also keep your members points up.......when we're sh*t again away days will be back on:)

ISTR the OS said if you relinquish or decline a ST this year it's back of the queue time.

You won't be able to pick and choose at the new ground IMO as they will push more season tickets out

Also you will have even more football tourists after tickets

Worth keep bronze membership for cl games and the bigger games at whl.Really from next season it should be a bit cheaper as there will be no chance of away games or wembley sf or finals with a bronze membership. With 40k season ticket holders even some of them wont get.does anyone know for sure if bronze members decline a season ticket they go to back of queue

I tired to get an answer out of the ticket office but predictably it wasn't forthcoming. My guess is they hadn't quite decided what the policy would be on declining a ST this season if on the list and that probably feeds into not being sure if they will offer 3-4k more in the new stadium.

As for affording it, you can do it on a 10 monthly plan interest free as many ST holders already do.

They definitely need to review membership terms IMO. I've said this before on here. 'Incentives' to paying for membership are disappearing with our various changing circumstances, and if the club don't address that, they could risk losing a lot of members. Which means lost revenue.

I know I'm asking myself the question 'is it still worth it?'. Lots of others must be in a similar position.

Surely they can't put you to the back of the queue if you decline a ST? It takes years and years to get to the front of the queue. If that just happens to coincide with a bad time financially and you decline, that doesn't take away from the years you have been on the list. It just means people will get to leapfrog you. If that had always been the policy then fair enough, but I don't think it was. They can't just change the rules now.
I haven't seen anything to that effect, although I haven't followed it that closely, not being close enough for it to impact me. But I am sure there would have been noise from the Trust etc. if it had been announced as the case.

The only benefit I can see for Bronze membership is keeping on the ST waiting list.
The Bronze "priority" window for buying match tickets, ahead of going on sale to Lilywhite members, has very limited seats available. I am not sure I have ever bought in the Bronze window. But having a membership of any kind will still give a benefit in terms of seat availability and selection over general sale. And will still garner LPs - hopefully important for this season, although of seemingly of less value beyond that.

He'll be able to pick and choose via his membership (as now and likely a bigger pot for members).....failing that re-sales from 40000 ST's will be many via stubhub (if we stick with them) as people cant be bothered to go to the bang average games. For those type of games there were many tickets around face value last season and the number available via that channel is only going one way.

My mate sold a ticket for Bournemouth for £125 on brickhub

If someone is willing to pay that then good luck to them

Didn't stop me losing Sh!tloads of loyalty points when they changed to rolling however many years it is

I find it a bit strange that on the clubs website theirs nothing in the ticket section about season ticket prices for Wembley but if you put season tickets in their search section this comes up...

http://i.tottenhamhotspur.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003428385-Season-ticket-pricing-guide

Why isn't this prominent in their website so people know what the costs are, cheapest price i can see is £695,then £725 up to £1100.....it does give a few more details if you want to sit next to a long standing season ticket holder etc . I have spoken to the membership dept and she wasn't sure of some details but she did mention if I didn't buy a season ticket this year there is a chance that i would go to the back of a queue as such but this decision hasn't been set in stone.

It feels like the average joe of the fan isn't looked after if your not a season ticket holder, for many years you've got to go through hoops to get tickets i.e buy your membership of £40's +every year, then if you don't do this and that, you lose your points or like in this instance lose your place in the season ticket holder if you don't buy a season ticket for Wembley. Been a member for over 12 years,5900 in the waiting list and get pushed out in the end if i don't do what the club wants me to do...

Not only that, if you're a 'corporate' customer, you will have already bought your NWHL season ticket, with no obligation to buy a Wembley one.

It was the last home game before the "impossible to get tickets for" home games against Arse and ManU, hence I bought two tickets at £125 so I could say goodbye to the rusty old groater
