FIFA: Destroying Football Since 1904

I'm confident they will be punished probably a stern warning about future activities and a hefty 25,000k fine.

You think the other clubs would be happy with that?

The prem is a members club. Run by the 20 members. With rules agreed by the 20 members. Will the other 19 members be happy if they found out one of them has been cheating and costing them money? Some might, they might also have been cheating.

A lot won't though. Cl spaces, titles etc...

I don't trust any elite club to self regulate, I assume there will be deals and accommodations between the members, the punishment will be gauged by the number of rules they have been proved to have broken, whatever they decide I'm positive they will be nowhere near harsh enough to satisfy most other clubs fans as what they think does matter.

I trust the club owners to act in their own best interests. Which most likely will be in the interests of the clubs they own.

Another world cup I won't be watching. Good to see FIFA sticking to their principle of rotating between the various continents by having the 2030 edition in three of them just so they could pocket the cash from the next one.

Didn't watch Qatar for a multitude of reasons. All of them pretty much apply to 2034 except that Saudi do at least have some pedigree at international level.

The world fudging stinks when it comes to stuff like this doesn't it?

Snap, didn't watch an ounce of the last and won't watch an ounce of that one

I didn't watch much of the euros either. International football is boring enough that I won't make much of effort to seek it out, but this makes it easy to just ignore the whole thing.

They really are utter cnuts.
I mean; hosting it in Spain, Portugal and Morocco is an acceptable gimmick in my view, but those three random games in South America makes absolutely no sense in any other way than to pave the way for Saudi Arabia to host purchase the next World cup.

Not great that another country with an appalling human rights record gets to host the World Cup. For what it’s worth from a footballing point of view, the World Cup in Qatar was arguably the best ever World Cup IMO, certainly the best final ever!

Would love the undoubted kick backs FIFA got from SA to come out

Don't forget it's all about the fans !!
There will be poor sods who've managed to watch every game for their country, who now have the prospect of travelling through three continents to keep it going. Actually, as fans move about to support their team, you could end up with hardly anyone going to an outreach game. What a complete load of bollox.
