Terry Venables also has great business pedigree
As @milo said in another thread, we really should have had one during the 2/3 years of the stadium build, I think Levy might have had a bit of a workload during that period.I don’t think it should be Jenas but I do think we need one.
Just stating that three of them successful ones we wanted too but didn’t buy for varying reasons, plus Johnny evans who i personally said we should go for to replace Toby when he was available - now playing in the best defence in the division despite being older but wasn’t good enough for us apparentlyIf we can’t wrangle Luis Campos from Lille any time soon, perhaps this Eduardo Macià (who parted ways with Leicester a few months ago) is worth a look.

He certainly seems to have done a better job of freshening up their squad (especially after they lost likes of Kante and Mahrez) than what we’ve done in recent years.

Im still pretty convinced (hopeful?!) that Campos is the man.
I suspect itll be the case that we sort something out in time for summer, probably to soon for him to be useful this window and he likely has commitments to Lille. After this window, get him in, get ready for Summer...
I like the idea but remain unconvinced about all thing Spurs transfer wise.
GLC looks OK.
Sessegnon has the potential to be a very good player for us long term. He hasn't shown it yet mind.
Ndombele has the ability to be arguably the best midfield player in the league for me. Whether he has the will/attitude/meteorology to do it is another question.
Some nice wheeler-dealer dealing by (our former analyst under Redknapp) Michael Edwards up at Liverpool... can but hope for such good business by whomever Levy and Mourinho decide upon...
