You need a small injury. Not too debilitating, but one that makes travel just too inconvenient, especially at this time.

The people I deal with our there are “different”
But it’s basically the Hebrides but 4000 miles away
I may have to go in October now as I’m running falklands, Gibraltar and Cyprus at the same time… not good planning
The wildlife out there is amazing, penguins and whales are the norm. I also look after ascension which is sharks

Problem of course being half the population are there for military purposes

Not sure how it fits into this thread but i have a funny story about the Falklands, While i was in America i along with two other Brits were on the way in the car to training . We had the radio on in the car and it broke off to a news alert saying that there is a breaking story that a task force from Argentina was on its way to invade the British Falkland Islands. We all looked at each other and said why would the Argies want to invade Scotland ( never heard about the Falklands before and just assumed they were off Scotland s ome where. True story that
