FA Cup 24/25

I wonder if we will do something similar with Tamworth to what we did with Marine to raise money for them. Looks like they are a division up on Marine but non-league all the same. Would be good to see us doing that again.

Did we not do something for Marine as there was no fans in the ground? So for them not to lose out on tickets, fans bought 'virtual tickets'. Doubt we will do something for every game against teams like Marine, Tamworth or West Ham

Id like to see all the clubs that get non league teams do something that really bank rolls these teams for a good few seasons. (Eg if you're at home...split the gate 50/50)

That is how i remember it as well.

If I were the Tamworth chairman I would certainly consider switching tie to our stadium. We should be able to sell at least 45000 tickets for that as opposed to 4000 they would get at home

I know its not quite as romantic for them, but in this day and age, a share of the gate at our place could set them up for the rest of the season and more.

I suppose it all depends on how much they need the income

Funnily enough last night I was thinking it would be a cracker if Salford City could draw Man United, but City away is a decent 2nd best choice.

Hell, on current form thet might even fancy it...

I don't think that's allowed anymore.

I'm just pleased to see a fixture we might win. Heck, Jed Spence might even get a game... really hope we get a good run in the cup, preferably with an away fixture or two at a team with a big enough stadium for ordinary ST holders to have a chance of an awayday.
