European semi final

Absolutely disgusting tackle by some goon called Maguire back in the time when it was ok for thugs like Fashanu and Jones to deliberately injury our players.

Could not agree more, as for that Wimbledon game i have never seen such a dirty load of bastards in a game of football. I was so angry i actually wrote a letter Bassest saying i was disgusted with there attitude during the game. Fash elbowed Mabbs and broke his cheek bone and that dirty bastard Jones ended Stevens playing days when he kicked him in the stands.

The media loved them, they were "The Crazy Gang" just a bunch of guys having fun.

There's currently a shortage of trains after a rock slide caused a derailment last year. The sleeper isn't a sleeper, there's a 9 hour stop in a town during the night.
Hi. Can I ask how long you think this journey is from London and how long will it take? Thanks

Unless you're a train enthusiast I'd recommend flying. About 5-6 hours if you go via Oslo. Norwegian from Gatwick is usually cheapest or SAS from Heathrow.

Thanks. Good point about hotels. Will have to get onto that.
And totally forgot to include @Kandi1977 in my message.
That looks georgeous. May look at 5 or 6 days out there and have little look around.

Considering the same, it's such a unique place to have a big match. Even staying nearby (ish) and popping over there the day of the game would be cool.

I read something about "the most scenic train journey in Europe" from Trondheim to Bodo. It's 9.5 hours, but a choice of sleeper or early morning departure.

The fact it's difficult to get to makes me want to go more (recently went skiing and rather than fly nearby, booked a 4 hour train over the top of the alps and that was super cool).

Very much recommend Lofoten, it's an insanely beautiful place to go - early May you could get lucky with the weather too (although it could also be bricky - you never know).

Here's a few photos from my most recent visit in 2019. This was late July, and we had five days of sunshine, which obviously made the experience extra special.
