Europa League 2020/21 - Round of 16: Dinamo Zagreb (CRO)

19 teams so far qualified for last 32:
Roma, Arsenal, Slavia Praha, Leverkusen, Rangers, Benfica, Granada, PSV Eindhoven, Leicester City, Braga, Lille, AC Milan, Villarreal, Antwerp, Tottenham, Dinamo Zagreb, Hoffenheim, Crvena zvezda, Krasnodar

Not a single team there we should fear. Then it's a question who drops down from the CL. A ridiculous system imo. But I said in another thread, that I think we'll play Real Madrid in the final.

That would work for me, i can not wait. :D

'Fear', no, I agree, but there will likely be quite a big difference in strength of the group of possible opponents if we finish 1st compared to 2nd

Given the number of rounds to win the EL, better to have an easier start to it

Did you see us play in the EL last time out?

Ideally want to avoid long distance one so no Russia, Israel, Ukraine.
The round of 32 is sandwiched into these games
Man . City A
1st leg
West Ham A
2nd leg
Burnley H

So whenever we have the away game we don’t have to leave London for a league game straight after.

So we and the goooooooooooooooooners both win their groups.

But cant play at home on the same night.

I guess this means one team has to give up the 2nd leg home advantage.

One of the games will be moved to Tuesday or Wednesday most likely.

all about avoiding a long journey, all the other teams are brick, UEFA may as well save everyone the bother and give us the trophy now
