Blimey just seen the schedule we have! No choice but to have a team A and team B for these games.

PL - team A (everton on sun)
EL - team B (plovdiv on thurs)
PL - team A (soton on sun)
LC - team B (plymouth/orient on tues)
EL - team A (botosani/shkendija on thurs)
PL - team A (newc on sun)
LC - team B (tbc on tues)
EL - team A (tbc on thurs)
PL - team A (man utd on sun)

Team A: Lloris, Doherty, Davies, Dier, Alderweireld, Hojbjerg, Lo Celso, Dele, Bergwijn, Son, Kane

Team B: Hart, Aurier, Sessegnon, Tanganga, Sanchez, Winks, Gedson, Ndombele, Lamela, Lucas, new striker

Something like that and Sissoko can come off the bench in every game.

I'm surprised we didnt request to have either the Southampton or Saudi Sportswashing Machine game postponed. After all, Man C and Man U were both allowed to postpone their games this weekend as a result of the lack of rest time between the end of their seasons in UCL/UEL.
I know the timescales are different but we're in a mess specifically because of COVID rescheduling of the usual schedule.

You’d think if we are to make any request for a league game to be moved it would be the Saudi Sportswashing Machine game. I know we want to have a go on all fronts to try and actually win something. But it does seem crazy to give it all a go with this schedule. More likely to pick injuries and screw the season before it’s really got going.

All of the teams involved in European football at the end of the season got an extra week before the start of their season. There is no way the league would've agreed to us postponing those games.
 
Plovdiv lost 3-1 to top of the table Ludogorets yesterday. They are five games into their season, so may well be more match sharp than us.

It's FC Pigfarmer on a ploughed pitch.

If the under 23s can't do that then we don't have the squad depth to concentrate on anything but the league anyway.
