I do believe we are becoming a different Spurs to that of old, but as has been rightly said, we can't count our chickens. We'll do the job at the san siro.

If you go to Amsterdam, why not take an overnight Ferry and train it a couple of days before on the Stena Line ? (where's my commission for the shameless plug meneer ??).

England's representatives in the 2013-14 Europa League: Swansea + Wigan or Millwall or Blackburn + 1 other.

Edit: There is an alternative to the above - if Chelsea win the FA Cup but don't finish in the top 4 in the league ...

There's also the Fair Play league to consider, but i never know how we're doing in it until they announce it at the end of the season.



Reckon we'll be fine against Inter. They need to score four, and the team we saw last thursday just wasn't capable of that.

There are 3 Fair Play places available. In UEFA's intermediate Fair Play rankings, up to 31 Dec 2012, the top 3 countries were Norway, Sweden and Finland. I don't think UEFA publish any further rankings until the final ones at the end of the season. England were 4th, so it's possible we could be in the top 3. Nani's sending off and the reaction to it won't have helped though.

After 27 matches Arsenal were top of the Premier League Fair Play table. Spurs were 2nd and Liverpool 3rd.

Fun Fact: Chelsea FC and Levante have played fewer UEFA Cup/UEFA Europa League games than any other side left in the competition – just 11 each.

If Chelsea score stays like that, we'll be favorites. Would be good if Saudi Sportswashing Machine went out aswell.

Benfica, fenerbahce and Lazio are big clubs but havent got many good players.

Just got to hope we dont play Lazio again..

Hopefully cheatski will beat Manure in the FA CUp replay so that our league game gets postponed and we have a free weekend after the QF second leg

Steau, Basel, or Saudi Sportswashing Machine (if they get through). Steaua because we cannot become THAT complacent two EL ties in a row, Basel because it isn't a long way to travel and because we face a reasonable chance of victory, and Saudi Sportswashing Machine because it's the shortest distance, travel-wise.

If we get different opponents than the ones above, it becomes an even 50:50 tie, the outcome of which cannot be predicted, and given our sudden flakiness, that is not a good thing.

Certainly would be a help to the EL chances,but does mean a midweek away game at Chelsea later in the season.

The thing is we all know we're getting Chelsea in the draw, nailed on
