Dier has been one of England's best today, up there with Clyne.
Dier is running the show. Cool as a cucumber. Think Vardy has been good too.
Dier has been one of England's best today, up there with Clyne.
He's now the Tournament top scorer with three goals. A great tournament for him, unlike his club mate Ronaldo.
I genuinely don't see how people think it will be so easy to get a backup for him.Nevermind, Dier's ok now. And he's just turned into GHod to make a chance for Sturridge.
imagine how many goals Bale would have scored from the amount of chances Ronaldo has had
I genuinely don't see how people think it will be so easy to get a backup for him.
Because he tackles so well people massively underrate his passing and vision. He's been pinging Carrick-like balls along the floor with high pace and accuracy to the front three all night.
I think there's more than one or two that don't think we'll lose passing ability either.Wanyama will provide good defensive backup, though we'll lose some passing. Backup players by their very nature aren't going to be as good as the players they replace. In the case of Wanyama, he provides the defensive instincts and power that Dier gives us, something lacking from our other squad players like Mason, Bentaleb and Carroll.
And now, back to the ing-er-lund thread!
Dier is a class player, he really is.
Is Henderson genuinely a professional footballer? Or is this all just some elaborate joke?
Not even a Jason DozzellPirlo or Zidane he ain't.
If England finish second, who will the next opponents likely be?
yep agreed looked very ordinary today and wheelchair looked totally lost. both carried by Dier.Is Henderson genuinely a professional footballer? Or is this all just some elaborate joke?
Not even a Jason Dozzell
All he and Wheelchair have done is give it to Dier to so something creativeHe'll do a decent job in the right role, but for some reason he's supposed to be the main creative force.
