Why?
- if you are successful here, your next stop is usually the biggest clubs in the world -> Carrick, Berbatov, Modric, Bale and eventually Lloris.
- Many young players have been given a big chance and stepped up -> Kane, Bentaleb, Rose, Dier, etc.
- You get to play in Europe every season, also typically get a decent domestic cup run
- Almost no one who has "failed" here and left has lit up their career and shown Spurs to be wrong (which seems to indicate the players we took that risk on, just did not pan out)

Outside of CL and stupid paychecks, Spurs has to be one of the more attractive club options in Europe for players
