Where I am so impressed with Daniel is it took nerve to stick with Ange after say Everton and Leicester results. That was brave when he could have tried to make a mid season change with a journeyman like we have done previously.

On this occasion he has my full respect. It doesn't mask all the issues but I wont be singing negatively about the board on Sunday
It’s another lesson we have learned. This season has been a great eye opener.

I've missed this did CfT tweet only some supporters should attend?
Not explicitly. But in their fan survey about atmosphere one of the questions was (paraphrasing) what do you think is the reason for the deteriorating atmosphere and one of the multiple choice options was “Type of Supporter”. @SpiderSpurs asked them what that meant and they came back with ‘tourists, corporate and people who go to matches infrequently’. Which is hugely disrespectful to so many fans who can’t attend every week but make the effort when they can - whether from abroad or in the UK.

I'm so pleased for everyone associated with the club, including little Daniel Levy.

If Spurs had lost, we would not be in Europe, so would need to shed players and trim the squad.

Some disaffected players would be thinking of leaving, as Spurs never win.

New signings would have thought 17th in the league, no trophies, rather go elsewhere.

But now the vibes have completely changed at Spurs. We're in the CL so we need to buy some top players.

We made roughly £100m from that 1 game, so we could buy some really top talent (amortising contracts over 5 years so a £100m player is £20m each year, plus wages).

So brilliant, and vindication for Levy who has stuck at it and stuck at it.

So many* clubs have spent money they haven't earned or cannot afford, always keeping Spurs back in the league, or knocked out of the semis and finals of cups.

*Blackburn, Leeds, Cheatski, City, Leicester, Saudi Sportswashing Machine, Villa, can all fook off and die. We did it the right way, despite all of you cheating to keep Spurs down.

So does Levy get the credit for this win? I mean he is always at fault for the losses so it makes sense right?
How many times did you see “our only hope of winning the Europa is if he sacks Ange”. I saw that posted even after last weekend’s game.

Levy stuck with Ange through some absolutely shocking results and an unacceptable league position. Every other chairman would have fired him IMO (evidenced by the fact that most clubs around us fired their manager this season). Levy deserves great credit for this even if it looks a little like the relationship with Ange is currently a bit strained.

Levy got it right and some of us “football people” got it wrong.
