Davinson Sanchez

Even though I spent all of yesterday arguing about how we SHOULDN'T sign a new CB, Davinson Sanchez would be an immense signing. I haven't seen him much for myself, but from what I've read, he's a massive talent who will fit with how we want to play.

Also, the price underlines what a ridiculous mark-up you pay for Prem players. Keane, Maguire, and Gibson all are valued around 30 million (slightly less for Maguire), and between them they have TWO England caps.

From all accounts, Sanchez has the potential to become world class for the same money.

We have to be careful. The Dutch league is very poor right now. Hard to assess a player's true ability as weve seen with Jansen

However we've done well with Verts and Eriksen so hopefully the good luck continues with another Ajax player possibly coming over to us.

It's hard to get excited by this move but I know that if we do get him it will make us stronger. Sometimes the less exciting signing are the best ones.

Sometimes the most exciting ones aren't and sometimes they are. And sometime the less exciting ones turn out to be not so exciting.

Looks good in that vid (unsurprisingly) .

All Ajax players come with good technique and a good level of tactical nous if they have come through the academy. Has he?
