Daniel Levy - Chairman

Well he went to Leicester, so I think he probably would have come to a much bigger club yes.

I agree that we were much bigger, but they had momentum back then. They had lost the league winning partnership of Drinbkwater and Kante but were still chasing CL places.

Tielemans saw an opening to play for a top 6 club where he would start every week.

It's just not that simple to blame Poch. For all we know, Tielemans may have been one of the ones that our recruitment team couldn't close the negotiation on.

All I'm saying is that it's easy to blame Poch.

Bedford is wrong. Monaco didn't allow an option to buy in the loan which is apparently why Poch didn't want him.

Tielamans did an interview with Sky after he signed permanently for Leicester saying he had lots of offers after his loan spell but decided to stay with Leicester.

Is the way I understood it.

It’s even easier to blame others which is the norm
Poch is seen as a deity by some
He did great things
He also fudged up at times
He was learning on the job here and everything grew around him
It was the prefect timing
He inherited Kane along with so many great players and he did a great job with them. Didn’t quite get things over the line but it was fun
Strange after the weekend we have had the thread is back to Poch because of levy… we must be fudging bored (I’m waiting for my kids swimming)

I would tend to ignore CFT. It seems they have very little support behind them away from the fantasy world of the internet.

I absolutely do not give them much thought outside of seeing their name mentioned on here. I think it’s interesting more as an intellectual exercise of ‘if you wanted to affect actual change, what message WOULD resonate?’ and I find their messaging to be completely dumb.

I have to say i don;t follow them and wouldn't know about them if not for messages posted here.

I do find what they post dumb and i often think it is deliberately so

Nah, after doping their way to the title they then nearly got relegated, he signed for the first PL team that would have him.

I'm not blaming Poch, I'm backing his judgement, Tielemans was no better than what we already had, I find it easy to believe it was the same situation with other players we could have had.

Nah, not having that. Recruitment is a team sport. Single spacegoats like happened with Poch that year was utter BS.

Win together, lose together.
