Really enjoyed it - a very well put together stage. Excellent to see Simon Yates take the win.
Just about to pour myself a large glass of red to accompany the rest day ITV4 show. It’s going to be a much poorer event without them next year.

Fairplay to Yates...was struggling a bit this first week after the Giro but starting to show his legs. Gonna need all the legs they've got too burn off Pogacar.
The ups and downs were relentless...a few times they said 'oh this is another uncategorized climb'
.I've moved a work appointment to tomorrow from Thursday, just because it's a mountain stage and mountain finish on Thursday.
I do like to watch it unfold live...yeah not much is going on sometimes but it's all part of the story of the day (and there's always the scenery) ..and I work from home a lot, I just love having it on in the background listening to the chatter
