Cristian Romero

Nah, it's not, it's pretty much par for the course. Doesn't matter the topic he'll find a way to bring Kane into it and try to lay the boot into him.

But it's an objective discussion though. Kane made his decisions and missed PL games because of that decision. He only started game 3 of that season because of the late conditioning schedule the club were forced to put him on. Cuti is not actually fit for selection but as club captain he should be present either way (my opinion). I bet Ledders will be present, as would any of our prior captains like Hugo or Sonny of they possibly could be.

I'm more worried about the ones that are present but not present if you know what I mean. I didn't see the Chelsea game but read all of the Muani narrative. I hope every player turns up on Sunday. We need them all.

There's no need for treatment in Argentina, he can get it in England. Even if that was the case he can put it back for a few days until after the game.
If a family member is sick that's fair enough, but don't go to the training ground of your old club and don't go to match when your own team is playing their most critical match in years.

You might be right but just feels like a lot of jumping the gun at this stage. IIRC he’s gone back to Argentina for treatment in the past.

Rarely disagree with you my Aussia pal but it's just got me worried it will impact the environment even though we don't know if it's true. I'm leaning to think it was true as Vickery reported it. However I'm certain he will get given orders to get the eff home.

That’s where it’ll wholly depend on what involvement the club had. I can’t imagine he just absconded, but if he did then there will surely be severe ramifications for him.

I think you’re spot on. We should give Romero the benefit of the doubt until the circumstances are confirmed officially. Too often, we condemn people on the strength of an internet whisper. VdV was getting it not so long ago.

If it is true, I’ll be immensely fudged off but I’ll hold my tongue for the moment.

Why does a player being sold in the future mean they don't want him around the dressing room? Especially the captain - The only reason for that would be because he is a bad presence around the other players. I'm not saying that he is, but your rationale/excuse just does not stack up.....

Well this is the crux of it - he's either not fussed about the club & the teams current plight or the manager/club feels he'd be a negative influence - either way you cut it it reflects very badly on him. Imagine if Maddison for example was still sidelined, you wouldn't even question whether he'd be doing everything he can to be a positive influence in and around the camp during these times, he'd absolutely get the responsibility and the situation.

This guy is the captain and he's on the opposite side of the planet having a jolly up watching his old club in a cup final while we're facing one of the biggest games in our history - it fudging stinks

The captain part is the key for me too. I don't care about Kudus not being at games. Romero matters
