and here we go !!Sky and BBC news who are obviously itching to show the minority of bits of trouble have been struggling to do it as it seemed that on the whole most people did what was told of them and had a great time
They already had to close “the beach” a couple of years ago as the lagoon was basically dead, I went there a few months before they did and it was pretty depressing to see what tourism has done to it.Thailand will shut its National Parks for 2 months a year from now on

Very top headline on BBC
It is "crystal clear" that drunk people are unable to socially distance, the chair of the Police Federation said as pubs reopened on Saturday
and then shoved right down the article
But police thanked the majority of people for acting responsibly as they enjoyed the night out
there is a minority of helmets out normally, so obviously there would be after 3 months of not having pubs open

Surely the police need to get stuck in a bit more, they are coming across as total pussies since taking the knee
Yep not a great signal, it’s been mob rule for about a month now it seems. Too scared of the consequences of clamping down on these London estates.Surely the police need to get stuck in a bit more, they are coming across as total pussies since taking the knee
Soho with a crowd of mainly gay people is a bit different to a brick hole in South/North London with loads of hood rat youths !!I don't think the police did "take the knee" did they? Individuals maybe but not as a force.
But yes I agree, they were quite happy to stand back in Soho last night and let the crowds congregate without any action being taken.

Lots of assumptions there. I'd hazard a guess that if the police had gone in with force in Soho to try to disperse the crowds the result wouldn't have been so different to the incidents in south London.
