Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

Some fans believe that Cullen might be playing a role in ensuring Pochettino doesn’t return to the club. The two are reported to have shared a bit of a strained relationship because the Argentine gaffer wasn’t pleased with her having a ‘business first’ mentality and meddling with certain affairs.

On paper, not a bad shout but he has regressed massively as a coach, i think modern football has passed him by at this point
I wouldn't want him full time - but I think he could do a solid job for the last months of the season. I think he won a trophy with Chelsea while acting as caretaker there? I'd imagine he could make us more solid.

I'm not 'offended for him', I'm offended by people who could not fudging see what we had, what he had built, and what he could've built again with proper support. Because it wrecked MY trip. Again, IF we wanted to part ways, then why bother getting back together in that summer? It was a dirty, low and ill-planned way to go about it.

You know what? You're right. I should just shut the fudge up and not even bother hinting. I either go there or I don't. I won't.

So for clarity Steff, the "offended for him" wasn't specifically aimed at you. It was aimed at this sometimes narrative that Poch had no part in his own end, and that he somehow should/does hate Spurs & Levy (which regardless of your opinion on the first part, the second clearly isn't true).

We have done the what could have been conversation, and different perceptions of what portion of what belongs on who.

Utter fair tales

None of us know, but I'd say there is enough noise that indicates some people (not Levy) have an issue with Poch, and/or Poch has an issue with them, that has basically prevented any serious consideration of him returning to this point. @thfcsteff has referenced it in the past, I'd say I've heard something slightly different (around the why) but to the same effect.

See I’ve spoken of her and asked her outright… one of the joys of her living in my sister in laws village, eating at the restaurant my nephews girlfriend runs and her helping my bother getting a Job in football
Her reaction said a lot…
Doesn’t mean someone there doesn’t have an issue with pitch as you say but the PR person as many live to highlight regularly … quite an unusual choice imo

Poch will be courted to return after the World Cup if at all.

I wouldn’t underestimate the significance of his role at the US as they are hosting. I even noticed a replica of the World Cup trophy sitting in the Oval Office behind Elon with his stupid big hat on at the weekend.

I think perhaps it was a good timing for him he did not comeback earlier.

In the meantime I am happy to stick with Ange just to see what happens now.

Who was Qatar's coach at the last WC? Exactly.

And with Ange, i guess many of us are too young to have enjoyed the novelty of 1976

It's very hard to understand your fast typing
of=to, bother=brother, pitch=Poch, live=love
What was Donna's reaction then?

Her reaction was to laugh
And then she said people seem to think my job is choosing the manager… and that’s certainly not the case
She was nice and friendly
She also got some spurs stuff donated for a charity event and also had the club donate some money

Bother should be nephew… not sure how that happened with auto correct. She actually went through his CV and told him what change and add if he had it. He is now doing his masters at Loughborough this winter

So I’d love to know how and where these rumours started and why…. They may be true but her reaction and the constant push that she is PR makes me think it’s the usual fan lies

The latest one today being the gold game tomorrow for Poch and Munn

Looking at Birmingham City sitting pretty at the top of League One does get me wondering about the impact of our club losing Chris Davies.

+27 GD with only 19 goals conceded. Only 2 losses in the league. 63 points from 27 games.

I'd love to get Chris's opinion about what he think goes on with Ange's tactics. It's not like he's taken the Ange playbook with him and implemented it. He's implemented at Birmingham what he thinks will make him a winner in the league he's in.

Food for thought.

Looks like Davies brings plenty of enthusiasm to the training pitch, hopefully Wells has filled that void.
