The key to everything is the quality of the players we recruit.
It doesn't matter if it is Ange or Potter or Pep, if we recruit poor/weak/injured players we will be sh.it, and if we recruit really well, we'll be right up there and really good.
So for me, unless Ange does something insane, it is best to focus on good recruitment, that is the key to everything.
There must be 1000 players on our radar. Some aren't good enough. Some are overpriced. Some can elevate us and are the right price. Just gotta find them.
But it's also how many of those players you can integrate quickly, look at threads, Ange doesn't play/integrate Spence, Moore, Lankshear, Reguilon, etc .. ignoring that since he's started -> Vic, Udogie, VDV, Dragusin, Johnson, Maddison, Solanke have been integrated, how many more can you actually do?
Players have to learn systems, they have to build partnerships, they have to improve their own games, adding 2-3 players to a squad is absolutely doable, changing 7-10? it will create challenges, it will lead to inconsistencies, and that is part of what we see.
