Contingency planning : If Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

The owner of Spurs Web wrote to me recently about using data from my website (thfcdb.com) — last 5 matches vs X team on a preview article, for example — and I, knowing the sort of stuff they post, reluctantly agreed. But I can’t have this brick. I’ve told him I’m not having my data associated with this. All I want is for Spurs to be successful. People may differ on the how, but surely we can all agree this sort of article is not helpful in the slightest?

I don’t know if anyone cares. But I just thought I’d say. I’ve disabled the API so they can’t use my data on their site when they post absolute trash like this.

Likely to be complete BS, but a very odd statement to make
Terzic sounds like the type we would be looking at - former manager of a club that we would perceive to be at our level (let’s set aside the fact Dortmund have been far more successful in the past 30 years) . I did a bit of googling on him, not very inspiring tbh.

Did @thfcsteff not mention him last week?

Not very popular with Dortmund fans, apparently, who felt he underachieved with a really strong side. Got them to a final, which they lost, I think.

Sounds like the perfect fit!

I dunno?
I was looking at currently out of job candidates after the Liverpool game (though I’m in favour of giving Ange more time) and I came up with the following after about 10 seconds research:
Potter - the boring and possibly sensible choice
Southgate- no thanks
Ten Hag - no thanks
Xavi - ha!
Terzic - not convinced.

“If one club official is to be believes…”

I mean come on, at least get your spelling/grammar right when you post made up brick like this (directed at Spurs Web, not monkeybarry)
Serdal Adali, who is in the running to be the next president of Besiktas, has now made a shocking claim about Postecoglou’s future.

Speaking to the Turkish media, he revealed that he contacted former Borussia Dortmund head coach, Edin Terzic, about joining the Turkish club, but the German informed him that he expects to join Tottenham.

Adali told Tivibu Spor: “Edin Terzic was one of our foreign alternatives. In the meeting, he said he was expecting an agreement with Tottenham. That book is closed.”

That's what I was referring to.
No "club official..." BS.

It's the internet mate - it's all about the clicks and blue ticks.
Tis the world we've created

Moyes it is then :D

Moyes it is then :D

Wouldn't have him, but,

Experienced in top leagues
Managed at a big club
Pragmatic
Has won a trophy
Can play multiple systems.
Works within budget

All the stuff people say ange isn't, don't see him any lists.

He's also available, so free, has to a plus for levy.

It's the style of football issue with Moyes.

You mean we wouldn't be entertained.
Well it's just you compare the patience of fans and club with Ange compared to, say, Nuno.

Nuno's style is similar to Moyes. You can see at Wolves and ar Forest that he can build a very competitive PL side with limited resources. But basically as soon as results started going wobbly there was zero patience whereas there are still people being patient with Ange who has presided over one of the worst calendar years of results in recent history and basically that's down IMO to style of play. Fans are far more bought into what Ange is "trying" to achieve so are more willing to give him more time to see if he can actually achieve it.

With Moyes and Nuno (and Mourinho and Conte), they build teams that get results pragmatically and so there's not so much enjoyment in watching the attempt to gain the result and when they don't get the results the feeling quickly sets in that it's pointless

And he's already got his own Tottenham chant.
