The statistics show they suffer badly when James and Chilwell are injured. Tuchel had the same problem.

They tried to mitigate with the cucarella purchase but (to my surprise) that hasn't gone very well.

what about chelsea? enic have no need to sell but it will be interesting to see if their strategy of building vast non-football assets pays out over time.
I am inclined to think that if i am paying big monies i am going for glory.
If i am in it to leverage football assets to grow non football assets, I might as well start with any club in a good location e.g. more city central with naturally good footfall and public transport.

You realise to get planning permission to build something like a stadium, you have to agreements with the council to get permission? S106 agreements. That could be building housing, transport links, school, sainsburys etc... or all of the above. Which some help make the building of the stadium financially viable. Otherwise it doesn't get built.

As we know all too well, Eriksen is difficult to replace and has been a crucial component to their recent success (Eriksen providing the creativity, Casimiro providing the defensive cover)
