Another horse bolting moment for the game. Wanna leave your club, just have an interview with cnuts like Morgan and the door will open. Makes ya tom dingdong
wooosh!
In what way? We have no idea of what the deal is between Ronaldo and United. Mutual agreement doesn't necessarily mean that both parties just walk away without any financial obligations to each other.Another horse bolting moment for the game. Is it?
Shouldn’t you just be able to hand your notice in like any other industry?

Any player can walk away at any time if they want, but not without some financial hit. Can't see anything is changed by this.
You know as much as me that's not the case based on the fees paid and specific terms and contracts that are agreed, signed and an expectation to honour.
Yeah, but wouldn’t it be better for the players if that just all went away.
So players can just leave as and when they want, no questions asked? I see that as an even wilder west than we have currently.
no they hand in their notice, same way you or I could, they work their notice period
Interesting idea
But the price is mega for an investment that needs lot of investing inAnd now the Glazers seem ready to sell part or all of their stake

Notice periods would be set accordingly, probably 9/12 months for top players, gardening leave would be a thing, it would settle the market and likely reduce talent hoarding
I won't be surprised if this is a face saving spectacle engineered by cr7's pr team after he found the epl now different from the one he left.
A lot of people might agree, but I'm surprised Ronaldo himself wants to take it that far!
