He was asking him if he thought Kane was going to let him have the goal and not claim it for himself
Oh fudge off! He had NO CHANCE of getting the ball there! What he did was trying to dummy the GK, hoping the ball was on target! And it would have worked. He had a couple of chances/half chances early doors, but kept showing up and the goal he scored could have easily gone the way of the missed chances. And he certainly bottled out of one chance where it looked like the keeper might clatter him!
Are you daring to suggest that I’m not one of the greatest footballers in history? I could bring that ball down, pirouette, then kneel down and head the ball in every time.Oh fudge off! If you honestly belive he could have bought down the ball in that situation, I challenge you to replicate it. I'll give you 1 million tries, and you'll not manage it once. Neither would Messi.

He's been very committed the last few games. I wonder has anything changed behind the scenes.

He and his partner just got a baby. It might be as simple as them not getting enough sleep, and that things are going better now. They are humans you know. I was in a bit of a bubble the first few months after the little one was born. Certainly wasn't 100% concentrated at work.Watched him closely the past 2 matches before and during the games and he seems a lot happier. Might be a sign that he's signed on long term or might not but certainly given me hope that he will be with us for the next 4 years or so.
Yeah maybe that is it.He and his partner just got a baby. It might be as simple as them not getting enough sleep, and that things are going better now. They are humans you know. Was as good as anyone except Moura and Sissoko today.
Most chances created and most distance covered.
