Christian Eriksen

Based on his performances at the World Cup, he didn't look good. We know better of course, but he was quiet.

At times, the Danish players seemed to fail to see him and at others were passing to him when he wasn't the best option.
 
Time to rest, recover and get ready for the important football matches coming up from August onwards.

Well that hype is commonly concerning a player that is not so well-known prior the WC and commonly someone that scores a lot of goals. None of of that applies to Eriksen.

There are a lof of clubs out there for sure, but very few of them can afford him. And I quite certain that those clubs wouldn't have changed there opinion about Eriksen regardless his performance.
 
So Christian has 2 years left on his contract. After finishing in the top 3 over the last 3 seasons and now with 3 days left to go and not a single new signing I would not be surprised if I found out he is not in a hurry to sign a new contract, if I were him I would not consider signing one at the moment.

If you were him, you would have so much more facts and knowledges about the whole situation than you actually do when you are yourself.
 
Bit concerning that he still hasn't signed a new contract extension

Next summer he will have 1 year left in his deal.

So with Vertonghen and Dembele free to leave for nothing next summer, Eriksen will have to be sold if he doesn't extend by then, and Alderweireld on his way for 25 mill of he doesn't leave now, that could all make for a big upheaval in a years time

We've got a whole year before he enters his final year - Im not worried, YET.....
