Champions League 21/22

I’ll start this by saying I’m anti Liverpool and hate the fudgers as much as one can hate a football team. So I’m absolutely biased.

But week after week, the intensity they show for 90 minutes to win the ball back seems unnatural to me. I’m calling “cheat” on this. Doesn’t matter if my claims have any substance, I need something to console me if and when they win more trophies. GHod I detest them.

I am so glad I not longer work in an office full of Liverpool fans, my work life would have been pure hell this season. Now working in Widnes instead of Huyton, and now I am amongst a lot of Everton fans, which is far more durable
 
Well that looked like it could have a lot worse when that 2nd went in. 2-0 not a disaster, but I dont see Villareal even taking it to Extra-Time.

I'm plagued with the fudgers over here both in my professional life and all my mates. Absolutely insufferable. "This means more" and "imagine being us".

Last month two of my mates were having a conversation about whether anyone left in the CL could even give them a game.

I know a bunch of United fans and Woolwich fans and none are as bad as Liverpool fans.

I am with you, I just dont understand how they keep doing it week-in week-out, even moreso when you get to this stage of the season having played so many games. Right now on current form, I cant see anybody who can beat them

Me neither. The quadruple is seriously doable. Just watching tonight, even from the 80th to 90th minute, whenever Villarreal had the ball, the Dippers had at least two players all over the player in possession going at full pelt. Even high up the pitch.

Maybe I am remembering it wrong, but haven’t they always played that way? My dad always used to say playing Liverpool at Anfield is like playing the SAS.

For me it’s Arsenal all the way. I can’t stand them. Their fans are so bloody arrogant and rip the tinkle out of Spurs incessantly but it’s just “banter” when they do it. Whereas we are “small time” if we sing songs about them. They’re full of brick. And they have ALWAYS signed roostery players you just want to punch; Szcesney, Wheelchair, Ramsey, Henry, Fabregas. I’m sure I’ve missed loads out. How many times have those fudgers (along with Chelsea and West Ham) denied us top 4, CL berths, cup finals etc through sheer luck and partly because of our spursiness of course :D
