Certain "shopping lists" in certain hotels around the world

To get to the bottom of this, I think we need to get a kickstarter campaign up and running. Round up $1million and send one of us to Dubai undercover as a Russian oligarch and see what we get offered.

I can take one for the team I guess.

You don't need that much money to get the offers!

Good suit: £200 on Ebay
Good fake watch: £300 from China
Hotel room at the Plaza Athenee: £650
Limo to drop you there (people are always watching): £150
Champagne in the bar: £250 (x2)

Just buy the champagne, sit on a sofa in the bar and wait for some aspiring French and Italian supermodels to come and sit with you. You could probably take at least a couple back to your room and they're not even after cash.

They'll just want to stay/drink at the hotel and wander across the road with you the next day for a shopping trip at Chanel or Louis Vuitton. At this point you tell them that you're actually a pauper with barely tuppence to your name but that you've fallen in love with them (both) and you'll never lie again. Then hope that the real world is just like Hollywood films where someone pretends to be something else to trick a girl into bed and that they love you back.

Easy.

Lol! Just like one of Hustle's best episodes.:p

Or the film Confidence.
Or the film House of game etc.

£You can't cheat an honest man", seems very apt

That sounds like a challenge. Who is up for it?

I've often wondered what it would be like to be a VIP and how easy it would be to pull it off by being a bit flashy.

Incredibly easy. In fact Scara virtually has it down to a tee. I used to know club owners in the 80s who were constantly trying to figure out who was rich and who was faking it. They were invariably wrong and gave out so many freebies to keep up appearances just in case, that it drove them mad.
