If i was given the choice id much rather continue down our current path than the billionaire plaything route - i don't need to see us buy success to keep me interested.
lewis will NEVER bring us a title. ever.
Levy would be keen to stay on as part of any takeover, but executive director Darren Eales is leaving Spurs later this year to become club president of the new Major League Soccer Atlanta franchise.
Looks like we'll need a new Club Secretary, or Director of Football Administration as his title apparently is, soon. Barber has come back from overseas and been Chief Executive at Brighton for two years now.
Probably not in his lifetime, but he's moving us in the right direction.
It would be hollow doing it through doping though.
The gratification would be much so much more if we did it with integrity and through organic growth. The Athletico or Dortmund, even the Arsenal, route.
Tbh, the state of our fanbase, I don't think we deserve to be contenders. The idiot entitlement lot at home league games who boo Townsend don't ever deserve to see us do well. Until the 1882/UEFA and away games/King testimonial mentality permeates through, we won't progress as a club.

well **** you back
bought success is better than no success

This comes across a tad hypocritical given your lack of support to some previous managers.
Would people honestly not enjoy watching us win the CL whilst eliminating Arsenal or Chelsea from the next CL campaign in the process?
I'm with GB on this too. Anything that Chelsea or City do is totally meaningless to me. I see them as blank spots in the table really. Yeah it's great when something bad happens to them but I'm pretty apathetic about their activities really.
Supporting a football team is far more than just winning, for me anyway. If winning was all that mattered I would just check the scores. The destination is important but not as much as the journey for me. The ups and downs, the pain and joy, the transfer market , the progress of the club on and off the pitch, even this stupid forum. Everything plays into the story that is Spurs for me. Don't skip to the end of the book. That's what the financially doped clubs have done and it makes a mockery of the game.
I used to be of the same opinion. But with every trophy our rivals win and with every year we miss out on the CL, my position weakens.
Would you guys not take a new owner to put in the infrastructure to get this stadium done like yesterday and not saddle the club with debt, but still keep it within our means on player spend and FFP.
