The Carabao Cup third-round will take place on the weeks beginning September 16 and 23, which clashes with European games.

Arsenal, Villa, Liverpool and Emirates Marketing Project are due in Champions League action the week beginning September 16. Man Utd and Spurs will begin their Europa League campaigns the following week.

To ensure there is no clash of fixture dates, conditions will be implemented during the third-round draw of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night, which will mean clubs competing in the Champions League or Europa League cannot face each other.
 
Also nice that Chelsea aren't included, but they'll probably get their customary league one side at home anyway.

Of the seven clubs with a bye in the second round, they're the only ones actually playing in Europe at the moment.

You can bet your house on that before we play Arse, we will have to travel 10 hours to a difficult Thursday away game, and Arse will play an easy opponent at home on a Tuesday, and the NLD will be scheduled at the earliest possible time on Sunday.
 
Saudi Sportswashing Machine and West Ham very lucky to get through tonight. Reckon we get drawn away to one of them.
 
I'm guessing we don't need the draw anymore, not with Saudi Sportswashing Machine celebrating like they just won it...
