There is no way if that picture is real that he is surviving that. You have seen miracles before where people come out of crashes that look really bad with just a scratch but i can’t see this being a good outcome at all unfortunately.

Having worked in that industry, have seen a lot worse and nowt's happened and seen far far more innocuous looking crashes where there has been a loss of life. Don't forget too, majority of the photos you'll see are after the fire crews have been at them too - and they do love cutting them up

Saw the aftermath of a work colleagues crash in a Mazda 6 vs tree, you can imagine, and amazingly he crawled out the rear window with just cuts n bruises (helped he dozed off at the wheel so he never tensed on impact) - poor fella passed away several years afterwards playing cards in his home
