No DoF just the old fashioned way, a very good and well respected Chief Scout with brilliant knowledge of the European market, he actually used to scout for Spurs.

Serious question, do you have confidence that Ashley won't sell your best players/sack the manager? He's got previous.

I have confidence that we will only sell players if we get a stupid offer (ie. Carroll ?ú35M) or if they force the issue (ie. Jose Enrique, refused to sign a new contract with 1 year to go), we are no longer in a position where we need to sell, we are on a very secure financial footing these days for the first time in a long time.

Ashley also seems to be enjoying it again and he has been out on the town and then clubbing in Saudi Sportswashing Machine after the last few home games.

To answer the question, I think they can. Next weekend will go a long way to answering that.

If they better Arsenals result next weekend and the title race is over its on. Quite possible Arsenal could pick up 5pts from the last 3 games, Saudi Sportswashing Machine could possibly pick up 9/10pts from their last 4.
Its also the reason why mathematically we could finish 3rd too, if by fluke we won our last 4 games. This scenario still has a chance of that basis

Chelsea 67

But the form we are in right now, there's more chance of being caught by Everton than us stringing 4 wins together
