There's always going to be similarities between CBs as their skillsets don't vary to the degree of players in other positions, although obviously Michael Dawson is very different to Jan Vertonghen for example. Ledley didn't have many weaknesses and I don't think CCV does either, obviously he's 17 so still has a ton of developing/improving to do but there aren't any holes in his game that you can pinpoint and say he really needs to work on. Like I said earlier some will see his height as a problem as he's only around 5'11" or so but he's built like a rock, has a good leap(probably due to being the son of a former NBA player) and also has an aggressive side too. He's right footed but mostly always plays the LCB role, he defends first and foremost but is also very comfortable playing out from the back, rarely will he look to just lump it. He has decent pace but I've never really seen him have to use it as he positions himself well. I'd attribute a lot of those qualities to Ledley so I can see why some make the comparison but it's best for CCV if he can just concentrate on doing what he does well rather than having to live up to such comparisons.
