It's all the same. It's anything that stirs up your natural anti-inflammatory proteins in the regions you are pressuring (that's the real science behind them). The cheap vs expensive kit makes no difference.

Icebaths are 100% placebo though. No evidence at all they have any positive effect.

The mini theragun is excellent for traveling: bringing a foam roller is not really tenable.

My go to has always been the acupuncture mat. I think they are excellent. Unlike the foam rollers, you're obviously only using it on the back of your torso from your neck down, but it seems to work for me.
 
If I'm mountain biking on holiday (i.e. a few days of riding in a row), the difference a hot tub after riding makes; you either ache in the morning (getting worse each subsequent morning), or feel nothing at all.
