Best excuse for not working

I am at work now, just had a chap come in that I had to do his induction. Shakes me hand and then tells me he can't take the job as children come into B&Q and he is a pedophile and extremely sexually attracted to them.

Turned round and walked out with a smile on his face. I am not sure what to tell the job centre when they call us and ask why he did not take the job.

Had 2 of the youngins call in sick already. I am sure they were just hung over.

Mate that is absolutely insane.

I have never had an extreme one before, just find it amazing how often it happens for actually really weak excuses. We use agency staff on some of our sites and the excuses when you have blatantly waken them up is incredible. The drive for people to want to work has def gone down over the years
