Just been reading up on various forums/papers how Bale is a mercenary/semi retired/injury prone/past it.

When he was about to sign for Utd anytime over the last few years he was going to lead them to League and Champions League glory, now he is (seemingly) signing for us he's brick, and all of a sudden there's a focus on wages, like there isn't loads of players who haven't done half what he has getting paid big money.

Oh and it's a typical Mourinho desperation signing.

You are forgetting the biggest factor in all of that. We are Spurs and everyone hates us :D
 
Manchester United are still keen on Bale. Ed Woodward is therefore preparing a £90m bid to bring Christian Bale to Old Trafford.

Fortunately , I really can’t see this going tits up. He wants to come, Real want him out and Levy will look a right clam if he can’t get this over the line. It’s happening.
