Not getting with the programme is exactly it. Zidane, Poch who's going to put up with that? AVB did. But real managers aren't going to have it. It sets such a bad example. Evidence? Rednap quotes when Bale was starting out as mentioned before, and this is quite entertaining, but Bale stuff is at the end:

 
I would rather retire with £150 million in the bank as opposed to £60 million, for example. Especially if I retire at 35 and have a good 50 years to live ahead of me.

Not sure there is a difference really, unless you want a new Ferrari every year. Bale's agent sees him as a cash cow and wants the cash...not much glory in playing in China but that is where he will go.

Within 30 seconds of the start JD is claiming that Gerrard was a good footballer, evidence dismissed.

Also, you name the man who got us to a CL final and a man who won loads of them and claim they are somehow “real managers” compared to one of the all time greats. Dude, are you high?

Bale hasn't been any better at Madrid, that he was in that final season with us and that feels about six years ago.

He was top three when he left us. If he'd improved he'd be top 1.
