Bale. Could we? Would we? Should we?

The interesting thing is no one knows what Bale is capable of now. Even Bale himself.

Probably fair to say he won't have that blistering pace to stroll past fast defenders like they are not there. Some of that pep won't be there. But it shouldn't matter. What we offer Bale is belief in him, a place where he is used to banging in the goals and is loved. It should get his confidence up. Then he should be as good as he ever was at finding the corner of the net. 10% less pace Bale is still a fast player.

More than anything I hope Mourinho can get us moving and passing. Better passing, better movement. Bale will help with that. As with Kane he's a skillful player who can pick passes. And he will need better passing to open up space for him to exploit.

What happens after a year? I guess we would have to go back to Madrid and re-negotiate, or let him move on once again.

We need another centre back but like the midfield and front three, providing Ndombele runs around a bit.

It’s fake. Hitchen’s name is even spelt incorrectly. Some fella admitted that he was messing around on his club website and was surprised it allowed him to enter the names so he ran with it.
 
So what time are we expecting announcements? I'm thinking Reguilon this morning and Bale afternoon? Let the hype flow all weekend...
