I think just under 50, banking on better form with the return of some crucial players. But then they, or others will no doubt get injured again so probably wishful thinking - you are probably right .....Think we'll do well to get 40.

High 30s for me, but I don't see us going down, be safe with games to spare imo.I think just under 50, banking on better form with the return of some crucial players. But then they, or others will no doubt get injured again so probably wishful thinking - you are probably right .....
The main argument for keeping him is the League Cup. Ironically, I think our only chance of going through is with a new man who’ll add a bit of unpredictability for Liverpool to deal with.the numbers since those first 10 games last season are there for all to see. yes we have injuries right now, but thats masking a deeper issue.
he is not good enough for us, and not suited to the PL. we need to sack him now to salvage anything from this season, let alone ensure we stay up.
I looked at the remaining fixtures and came to the same conclusion. We will get enough to stay up but geez, struggling for 40pts.Think we'll do well to get 40.

Doesn't speak English and has said he wouldn't take a job abroad.

No way I see Ange getting a result there second leg.
The club must also know that a new manager won't want to walk into a collosal injury crisis either.Fully agreed. The other thing that is keeping him here seems to be an acknowledgement within the club that a lot of what's been going on is a result of injuries and fatigue, combined with where we are in the squad building process.
One of the worries with that is if we get more significant injuries before or as those already injured return.
Its that simpleFor me it's not us being any good that will save us, it that the rest are muck.

I just can't see that at all. We haven't been gaining points at the rate needed for that to happen since his first 10 games here, and that was 15 months ago now.We probably end up around 50 points.
Panic stations would be if we were seeing these results without hope of much positive change.
The return of a number of players in the coming weeks and months means I'm nowhere near panic stations. Just in misery station.
No. He left another set of the copies of the photos of Levy on the chairman's desk this morning - just as a reminder. He been sacked yet?
Doubt it, probably in charge of training and they wouldnt let him anywhere near the training pitches if he were to be sacked. He should have been sacked on previous form as many have gone for a lot less.He been sacked yet?
Honestly mate, there is no chance of us winning Europa with him IMO. The amount of “on our day” performances we’d need would be ridiculous. I’d have more confidence in winning that if we appointed someone like Rafa Benitez on an interim basis (not saying I want FSW by the way). It’s Europa for me
That’s why you keep him
It’s a lower standard than the domestic cups and 2 legged
That gives us a fighting chance
Pool is a free hit
Villa are very beatable with our record there but timing of that isn’t good
We're 15th, but only Liverpool have scored more than us. Crazy. If only we could defend.
