There are issues, major issues.

But you can't ignore the fact that we had six teenagers on the bench today, of which only one - 17 year old Mikey Moore, just back from a lengthy illness - have had any game time with the first team to speak of.

Only Reguilon (who, lets face it, isn't really good enough for where we wanna be) and Richie, just back from injury (after breaking down straight after his last comeback) were viable options from the bench, along with Moore.

Our options were extremely limited, and of those who started, several were visibly tired and/or not at the top of their game.

You cannot ignore this.
We did have a very depleted team.

But Everton are dog brick. And they're managed by David fudging Moyes.

We should be able to put out a B or C team that at least matches them on the field. We were beaten all over by one of the league's worst sides.

I don't think he's a good fit for us or a very smart player, no. I like him, I really do, and you could make an argument for using whatever players you have available, but today I'd rather have Davies or Spence at LB over him.
It's each to their own, but I really think porro is one of our weakest links defensively and adds hardly nothing going forward anymore apart from wild shots and the occasional good cross, when he should be crossing every single game because he has a good peg.

Id put Spence RB and Reggy LB. Then you don't have Spence cutting back onto his right all the time.

Alas, until we change managers that won't happen. Porro has probably been told not to cross and come back and find a way through on the deck

Also, back to your point about a new manager coming and having an effect, yes, yes they would.

They'd see our glaringly obvious holes in the way we play out at the back and leave our defence exposed and how our midfielders are non existent and address it.

You'd see an instant reduction in chances and goals against. It's not rocket science, you address where you are brick at, and try to make that better.

Ange doesn't have a clue what he's doing and it shows with the results week in week out. Pundits can see it fans can see it and they actually want him to stay, so they can continue to laugh at us.

This is it. A lot of people said ah it's Everton and Moyes spurs will be alright, but it's Everton and Moyes and spurs.

We are so bad we knew the result would be a loss

I know that Leicester will be a loss, but some will say we will beat them.

I'll gladly come back to this post next Sunday and see who won at the lane.

David Moyes is a tactical genius compared to Ange.

Yeah, it certainly looks like he won’t. It would be a shame, IMO.

In the longer term, as long as we avoid relegation, I'm not as worried about Spurs. We have a very talented squad, and if whoever takes over for Ange has a philosophy aligned to the stregths of our squad, we could still become a great side. Dealing with what we've been dealing with this season, should only make the youngsters stronger.
I fully agree
Always said this squad was built for the next guy
He is out Harry Redknapp manager before the Poch appointment. The guy who brought some feel good back
I still think we will win Europa because it’s dr which down the line
But he is gone in the summer

He did. And that could very well be the end of him.

I would like to see what he could do with a close to fully fit squad of his players, though. While he's made several odd decisons, and there are a few alarm bells, I still don't think he's properly shown what his tactics and style is all about. Which of course can be as much his own fault as anything else.

The last time Postecoglou had a fully fit squad at his disposal we gifted Crystal Palace their first win of the season!

David Moyes gets teams doing the basics to an okay standard. Any Moyes team will be compact, hard to get at and a threat from set pieces. He struggles to take that to the next level and get teams dominating the opposition. So he has a ceiling which is kind of limited to rescuing teams that have fallen apart and getting them to a point where theyre comfortably lower midtable.

With Ange, he is pretty much the complete opposite but i feel like he has the same ceiling or worse. Ange can come in and put out a team that dominates the ball and creates plenty of chances, but we are poor at the basics. We consistently give poor goals away and do daft stuff like have two players run into each other going for the same ball.

Ange's ceiling at this level is that he needs everything to be just right for his style to deliver a result. You don't have that basic shape and tactical solidity to fall back on if you're having a bad day. We have never ground out a win while not playing well under Postecoglu nor would I see us being capable of doing so.

You are doing Moyes a disservice there - he won the Europa Conference with West Ham - that's not getting a team to mid table comfort. He also got Everton into the Champions League. He's not fashionable because he's old school "don't lose" but he's far from average. You don't get anointed by SAF as his successor without being better than most.

He's average personified ffs 😂

He won everything he could at PSG. No one has won the CL there included more decorated managers than him. He also stabilised a Chelsea team that was going no where. Not sure what people expected from him.
Of the two league and four cup honours available to him in his time there (domestic only), he won one league and one cup.

Even if we ignore his first season as he only had half of it, the absolute minimum he should have won in one league and two cups.

Even Brenton Rodgers would achieve that with the only team in the league. fudge, even Ange would
