American politics

Another arse licking comment by chief arse licker...Scott Bessent. He's such a drip. Spineless idiot.
Watched him answer a question the other day about Trump's comments on Mueller. I always knew Bessent was a weasel but he sank even lower with his bricky, pathetic, boot-licking answer.

Is it wrong that part of me is hoping Iran embarrass the f**k out of the US and Trump?

They’re doing it. The world economy is in free-fall (check out any pension or share provisions you may have as a starting point), supply lines are beginning to falter and Iran is in a hugely stronger geopolitical position than it was a month ago. They are much more in control of when this all ends than the US are.

So he claims they are in peace talks
Claims they have let 10 tankers through
No Claims he will take their oil island

The leader of the free world everyone and to think some on here have defended him

Utterly unhinged

Even if the Straits of Hormuz opened tomorrow, the fallout will be felt for months if not years. 20% of the crude is stuck, and the Asian refineries are running dry. This will dwarf all previous energy crises, and all for the hubris of one demented old paedophile.

Who wins out of all this mess? China is the hands-down winner. They have been reorienting to renewables for a while now. They are well-positioned to ride out this shock in the long term. In the short term, it hits everyone. In fact, most of our politicians are oblivious to the energy carnage on the horizon.

Fill your tanks

There was a sobering report on the radio yesterday about the forthcoming food inflation we'll all get to enjoy, due to the middle east being vital for fertiliser production. Higher costs, lower yields for agriculture. We'll all be getting fudged by that one.

No idea who's making them but anyone seen all these cartoon propaganda videos that come out - crazy level of effort put into them.

So it looked like things were calming down, markets back up, oil prices down and then the orange bell housing decides to stir things up yet again and today will be total carnage, no doubt all done for him and his pals gain !!

Pam Bondi makes herself look a d1ck for Trump and he sh1ts on her......what a guy, what a leader
Hegseth has got the message. He's ramped up his brickyness level. Yesterday he fired the head of the army for not being racist and mysogonistic enough. He fired the head of the chaplain corps, blocked the promotion of black and female officiers and changed the rules to allow military personnel to carry personal weapons on bases again (previously banned for a good reason - lots of on-base shootings).
