EU and Canada should be looking to move relations closer and looking again at Canada joining the EU. It's only a matter of time, most likely next month, before tariffs are going to start on EU as well. Keeps it up and he's going to push Europe closer to China for trade.

Will be interesting to see how all his supporters react when grocery prices go through the roof. Will also be a huge impact on new house prices as most of the materials used in US house construction comes from Mexico and Canada.

A large market for free trade, to help their economy that's now under attack, access to a skilled workforce to help develop their natural resources and they seem to have more sense than the UK :tonguewink: ? Doesn't have to be even joining, just a closer alliance with EU on economic matters. They're already close with the CETA agreement.

A closer alliance would be better yes. Same with the UK and the EU but sending people to sit in a parliament not worthy of the name that tells your own what’s what - don’t do that.
