American politics

Being appointed by Trump is never a job for life:)

Had missed it, but The Mooch said on this week’s Rest Is Politics US that Trump said at an event this week, “…JD Vance - wherever the hell he is!”

He’ll also definitely get bored of Musk, and they will undoubtedly to some extent implode, but I’m not sure that stops Bannon and all the wizards behind the curtain this time.

The Trump dynasty is the aim: Don Jr next, followed by Barron.

Imagine that coke head Don Jr as president.

I'm quite worried about this, Ttumps admin has gutted key cybersecurity advisory boards, just as expert witnesses warned Congress of potentially destructive cyberattacks by China.

The Department of Homeland Security's directive to fire everyone on its advisory committees – including its cybersecurity panels and the Cyber Safety Review Board is, frankly a clusterfudge. It was investigating Beijing's Salt Typhoon intrusions into telecoms networks, which most ppl haven't heard of because the media didn't cover it, I assume out of embarrassment or advertisement money.

Basically China had been a naughty boy and hacked just about all of Americas telco's.
ATM it can be assumed that if a wartime situation occurred, then planes trains and ports would be knocked of grid, hampering any response that the US could/wants to activate.

Western DoD's rely on civilian knowledge of cyber threats, and it is passed on in these committees... So if Taiwan was to be invaded tomorrow, any response by US could be slowed because all the comms for rail air etc would be interrupted/misdirected.

I really am speechless at this and the fact it ain't been picked up on by media is worrying.
